Dad's 90th & other visits

Dad wants to stay in his home so he's making it work with the help of my sister and me (sometimes) and caregivers.  He is still sharp and makes his own decisions so there is no convincing him to move.

Dad helped prepare the Coodings. I cleaned, he tore.

My first sheepshead mushroom I ever found!  We've always called them by their Italian name - coodings.  I love them and I got to clean & freeze 12 pounds of them in October.  I found more and gave some to cousins too.  It was a good year for them.

Had a nice visit to JoAnn Polcyn and my cousins, Lee Ann & Bob and Pat & Dori.

Dad's 90th birthday at Vicki's with his grandkids & their kids.  Scooter came too!

We met with cousins Kay & Mike and their Aunt Lorraine for a meal in the summer.

At Vicki's lake house over 4th of July visit.  Dad was cold and he didn't want to bother anyone to get his hat so he put the pillow on his head as he watched TV.  We couldn't stop laughing about it.

The lake is so peaceful.  Even though I have yet to catch a fish.  The water sports are nice.

We had a pizza night with the Beloms - Kirin, Kay, John and their spouses and Aunt Lorraine.  They are family and it was so great to see them all. We brough Dad.
