Gig Harbor, just south of Tacoma, Washington. I'll be house and dog sitting for Kirin and Matt while they are off on an awesome vacation to Costa Rica.
I'll be hanging out at their house on the harbor and with Riley, their lab who is 15 and a sweet old dog. We overlapped a few days so I could spend some time with Kirin and Matt. As you can see from the pics, we're having fun!
I'll get to see two couples I met on Larry trips who live nearby. Kit and Kathy live in Gig Harbor too, and they love to play games and will take me around the area. Terry and Kathleen live in Seattle and I'll see them too!
It's humid here but rain is forecast every day until February… keeping fingers crossed for some occasional sun. What a beautiful place this is, and very different from sunny dry and brown Colorado in January.
Matt taught me to make the perfect pometini. Yum!
Matt and I found a good use for those jackets that wrap each piece of fruit. We are off to fight crime and save Gig Harbor from the bad guys!
