I spent two days in Split with Eli, my friend who is from Macedonia but has lived in Colorado for many years. It happens that she is in Macedonia this month, a neighbor to Croatia, so we planned to meet in beautiful Split for 2 days. It's so fun to have my girlfriend here! She speaks Croatian so this is a much richer experience than being here with just Americans. And she's very fun!
