| End of riding on island of Solta |
Last day of riding was on the small island of Solta. The day was sunny and warm but it was a short ride and we were sorry when it ended. We visited a beekeeper who had 150 hives and was very informative and interesting. He collects honey, pollen, propolis, wax, and royal jelly and sells it all.
Sailing back to Trogir for a city tour and some time to hang out in this historic city then tomorrow we go our separate ways. I went into the tower of the fort in the top photo for awesome views and some interesting history.
I can't say enough about our fabulous crew, cook, and guides with this German company called Island Hopping. I only wish there were a few more English speakers on our boat... some were Swiss speaking German and mainly Brazilians speaking Portuguese. The crew spoke everything and they worked very hard to keep it all going smoothly. I'd do another bike and boat trip for sure.
