Split palace under a full moon

Almost to the top..started the ride at the water....just like riding to Jamestown only more beautiful 

Town of Trogir, Croatia 

Yesterday the bikers met in Trogir, near Split, which is another amazing city on the coast with old walls, large boulevards to stroll, a beautiful harbor and the best ice cream ever.

We sailed to Split for the night and had a palace tour. We got to spend another night in the old palace...disco band outside, mellow guitar music in the Peristil under a full moon, and some loud and lively bars. Great nightlife there in those Roman walls. Met a new friend from another boat, Francisco from Uruguay. 

On our boat are people from the U.S., Switzerland,  and Brazil.

Rides:
Day 1 on island of Hvar. 2 rides. One loop from Stari Grad (old city) to coastal town of Jelsa, then Stari Grad up 2 big hills then serpentine down to Hvar town.
Day 2 on island of Vis. Loop from port town of Vis up to view then down to Komiza on the sea. Then up to a view,  rolling through vineyards,  and back Doreen to Vis.
Day 3 on island of Korčula from port town of Prigradica to Blato, up to view, down and ride along coast,  up to Smokvica, through vineyards then long up to Pupnat.  One lane serpentine down to town of Korčula.  
Day 4 on island of Brac.  Short afternoon ride from port town of Bol with beautiful beach up to view and down to Puśiśća, tiny town celebrating a saint day...overrun with teenagers.
Day 5 on the mainland.
