Riding up from the sea

City of Vis with a long promenade but not much city center. 

Wow, it gets windy here.  We bobbed around on the boat all night then sailing to the island of Vis this morning was exciting.  We had to hang onto things as we got food or coffee and tried to sit at a table. On one wave the dishes slid off the edge of the table onto the floor. Then we learned to hang on to our plates and cups. It has been windy all day but the sun is shining, the scenery is lovely, and it's been fantastic.

Today's ride had some long uphold again and more 10% grade with wind at our backs. We started at the sea, went up, then down to another town on the coast, then back up, and a short steep serpentine hill down.  Beautiful!  The roads are in great shape and there is very little traffic.  Hoping for less wind tomorrow though.
