Blue Mountains National Park

The group took the train for about 2 hours to get to the Blue Mountains outside of Sydney.  
We are staying 2 nights at The Carrington,  first hotel in the town, built in late 1800's and so beautiful.   It reminds me of the Stanley in Estes.  it is in the town of Katoomba, west of Sydney.

Here the national park includes their Grand Canyon.   It is huge with soaring rock cliffs, waterfalls,  huge drops and incredible view spots.  The trails are so well maintained and there is a metal rail along the entire trail which is a walk on top of the canyon walls.   This trail included hundreds of stairs up and down and up and down.  tomorrow we see the Three Sisters formation at sunrise.   :-)
