Hello again and Goodbye Sydney

The morning began with a sunrise hike to Three Sisters spires in drizzle and it was spectacular when the skies cleared and the sun came out.  A weird thing here is that some trees shed their bark each year.  It is fall so we are seeing a lot of it.

We said goodbye to the fabulous Blue Mountains National park and returned to Sydneyin just 2 hours for a coastal walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi Beach in sun, mist,  and rain.

The entire coastline for unknown numbers of miles is public land.  Very little private property is on the coast so the walkways run uninterrupted for miles and they are wide and perfectly maintained,  like the trails.  The coast includes beach areas but much of it is strange and beautiful rock cliffs and formations.

I ate a delicious lunch of broiled Australian prawns and French fries!
Tomorrow we fly 5 hours to Perth on the west coast for something very different from here on the east coast.  Woot woot!
